I’m not sure if this is only for those who:

* directly own NYC property (co-ops, condos, houses, etc.)
* anybody who normally resides in NYC (apartment)
* or anybody who works within NYC

Not only do New Yorkers have to pay that rent, they also are strutting around with thousands of dollars worth of clothes and shoes every day. How is it that these people are able to survive in this economy? How do they afford all of this? Is NYC the most expensive place on earth? How are NYC salaries different than other cities?
I read Newsweek and they are always talking about New Yorkers.
I know NYC is full of slums too, so I was only talking about the rich neighborhoods like Manhattan or whatever. I have even traveled to California and have never heard of million condos. I just cannot believe the places there are THAT expensive.

I was just Wondering on how much would it cost to live and own a condo in the Plaza Hotel now known as "The Plaza" I’m Guessing around the 2-5 hundred thousand dollars range but i maybe wrong? Its so close to many attractions like times square,Central park and St.Patricks Cathedral. i make about 45 thousand dollars a year can i manage to pay the monthly bill with that?
